Joining Up with Farmstead and The Produce Box
At Good Bowls OUR mission is to support the local food economy. We source as many ingredients as we can from local farmers and we produce all of our Bowls right here in the Triangle. So when we’re able to get into more freezers and onto more tables in North Carolina we can order more food from local farmers and hire more people to prepare our bowls…..building a stronger, more resilient local food economy one bowl at a time.
We are already available in all of the co-ops in the region as well as at a number of universities and through our home delivery service. We’re always looking for new ways to reach people and to spread across the state so we are excited to announce that we’ve now partnered with both Farmstead and The Produce Box.
Farmstead is a San Francisco-based grocery delivery startup that opened a location here in Raleigh in the Spring of 2021. They offer all the favorite national grocery brands as well as a wide variety of locally grown and locally produced foods. They will deliver your groceries same day within a 50-mile radius from their store in Raleigh and they have no delivery fee for new customers. Since Farmstead is always looking to provide their customers with quality local options, they were excited to add Good Bowls to their current line up. We also joined with The Produce Box this week to have Good Bowls available in weekly Box deliveries throughout the state. The Produce Box delivers fresh NC produce and local artisan foods to Charlotte, Winston Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh, Wake Forest, and Wilmington every week. They support local North Carolina farmers by giving people in the state easy access to fresh, locally-grown produce every week throughout the year. Now people that sign up for The Produce Box deliveries can have Good Bowls included in their weekly order.
