4 Mediterranean-Diet with a Southern Twist Video Recipes — Coming Soon!

At Good Bowls, we are committed to our missions of supporting our local food systems and increasing access to delicious, nutritious food for all.  As part of this mission, we have chosen to share our recipes so that YOU can make Good Bowls at home!

This last Saturday, we spent the day filming recipe videos for our four current Good Bowl flavors. We shot footage for the Chicken Burrito, Sausage Peppers and Grits, Veggie Curry, and Chicken Curry bowls. We will share these videos and full recipes on our website in the coming weeks.

The Mediterranean Diet calls for lots of vegetables, so Good Bowls cuts lots of vegetables

We are lucky to have some serious culinary power on the GB staff. Our video-recipe chef for the day, Celeste Kurz, went to culinary school and professionally produced recipe videos before moving to North Carolinato attend graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill and join the Good Bowls team.

The first lesson for the production team was that of “mise en place.” The camera crew wanted to jump right in and start shooting, but Celeste explained that all ingredients needed to  be prepped and in their  place before we could begin. We soon had piles and bowls of minced, diced, and chopped vegetables ready to go.

Next, we broke each recipe down into individual steps and caught it all on camera. We hope these recipe videos help you to make delicious Good Bowls from the comfort of your home kitchen! Stay tuned for the first video coming out this week.
